Meta Ads spend, performance, and attributed conversions flow into SourceMedium alongside your other ad platforms.

How to connect

SourceMedium connects to Meta with a one-click authorization.
You connect data sources yourself in SourceMedium. Sign in to your SourceMedium account, open your store, then in the Data sources section click Connect data source and choose the platform. You need an Editor or Admin role on the store. If you have view-only access, ask an admin or editor on your team to connect it.Once it is connected, what happens next covers first-sync timing and what each connection status means.
1

Start the Meta connection

Find Meta Ads in the connector picker and click Connect. The Connect Meta Ads page opens on the Authorize step.
2

Authorize with Meta Ads

Click Authorize with Meta Ads. SourceMedium sends you to Meta in the same tab to approve the read-only access it requests to your ad accounts and reporting, then brings you straight back. If the authorization does not finish, the page explains why and offers Try authorizing Meta Ads again.
3

Select accounts

Back in SourceMedium, choose the ad accounts you want SourceMedium to read, then save.
4

Confirm it is connected

The flow finishes on Done and the connection shows Connected. SourceMedium begins syncing.

Data nuances

  • Meta’s API limits history to the past 36 months from the date the connection is created.
  • By default, SourceMedium reports Meta conversions and revenue on 7-day click, 1-day view.
  • Other windows are available on request through your account manager or integrations@sourcemedium.com: 1-day click, 7-day click, 28-day click, and 1-day view. Meta removed the longer view-through windows from its API in January 2026, so only the one-day view window exists.
