Skio powers your subscription program on Shopify. SourceMedium reads Skio’s subscriptions, subscription lines, orders, order lines, customers, and billing and delivery intervals, so subscription activity can be analyzed alongside your orders and customers.

How to connect

SourceMedium connects to Skio with a single API key that you generate in Skio and paste into SourceMedium.
Sign in to SourceMedium, open your store, then choose Data sources → Connect data source and select the platform. You need an Admin or Editor workspace role.After you connect explains the first sync and connection statuses.

Generate an API key in Skio

In your Skio dashboard, go to API & Integrations → API. Enter a name (for example SourceMedium) and click Generate API key. You can view the key only once, so copy it immediately. See Skio’s guide: Using the Skio API.

Add the key in SourceMedium

Find Skio in the connector picker and click Connect. Paste the API key and click Connect.

Confirm it is connected

SourceMedium checks the key with Skio before saving it, so a wrong key is rejected on the spot. The connection reads Awaiting first data until the first sync lands, then Connected.
SourceMedium only ever reads from your connected platforms. It does not create, change, or delete anything, so create the key with read-only access wherever the platform offers it. Treat it like a password: keep it confidential and avoid sharing it over email or in spreadsheets. If the credential is rotated or revoked, follow this guide’s connection method to update SourceMedium.
Paste the key itself, without the API prefix that Skio’s API examples put in front of it. Skio keys cannot be limited to read-only access; SourceMedium only reads with it.
