Follow this integration guide to connect your Superfiliate data to SourceMedium.

Superfiliate is an affiliate and ambassador marketing platform for DTC brands, enabling co-branded storefronts and multi-tier commissions. SourceMedium ingests Superfiliate campaign, conversion, and customer data so affiliate performance lands in the same reporting layer as your paid channels. Affiliate ROAS can be compared against Meta, Google, and other ad platforms with a consistent methodology, and affiliate-specific metrics — commission spend, new vs. repeat customer breakdown, per-affiliate detail — are available in a dedicated report.

Requirements

  • Active Superfiliate account
  • Superfiliate API key with read access

Steps

  1. In Superfiliate, navigate to Settings > API
  2. Generate an API key and label it SourceMedium
  3. Share the API key with your SourceMedium account manager or send it to integrations@sourcemedium.com

Superfiliate data lands in two reports in sm_transformed_v2:

rpt_ad_performance_daily

Cross-platform advertising performance. Filter source_system = 'superfiliate' to put Superfiliate on the same grain as Meta Ads, Google Ads, and TikTok for direct channel comparison.

rpt_affiliate_performance_daily

Affiliate-specific daily report — commission, new vs. repeat customer breakdown, and per-affiliate / per-campaign / per-promo-code detail.

Questions you can answer

  • What is our Superfiliate affiliate ROAS vs Meta Ads last quarter?
  • Which affiliates and campaigns drive the most new-customer acquisition vs. repeat purchases?
  • How does affiliate-acquired customer LTV compare to paid social acquisition cohorts?
  • What share of affiliate-attributed orders are first-time buyers, broken out by affiliate and campaign?
  • What is our affiliate channel revenue trend month over month, and how is the effective commission rate moving?

Notes

  • Conversion lookback behavior is confirmed during setup.
  • Commission data supports ROAS computation by comparing attributed revenue against commission spend per affiliate, campaign, and promo code.
  • New vs. repeat classification reflects SourceMedium’s valid-order definition (excludes cancelled, refunded, voided, orders excluded by the configured $0 net-revenue rule, and off-channel orders). See rpt_affiliate_performance_daily for the full definition.
  • Historical backfill coverage is confirmed during setup.
