How to connect

SourceMedium connects to Taboola with your Backstage API client ID and client secret, which you create in Taboola Realize and paste into SourceMedium, then you choose the accounts to sync.
Sign in to SourceMedium, open your store, then choose Data sources → Connect data source and select the platform. You need an Admin or Editor workspace role.After you connect explains the first sync and connection statuses.

Get your client ID and secret

In Taboola Realize (ads.realizeperformance.com), open the API Keys page and create a client ID and client secret. If you do not see that page, ask your Taboola account manager for Backstage API credentials.

Add them in SourceMedium

Find Taboola in the connector picker and click Connect. Enter the Client ID and Client secret, then click Find accounts.

Choose your accounts

Select the Taboola accounts that belong to this store and click Connect Taboola. Credentials from an agency or network can reach other brands’ accounts, so select only your own. When your credentials manage several accounts, the network account itself is not listed, because its numbers repeat the accounts under it.

Confirm it is connected

SourceMedium checks the credentials and the selected accounts with Taboola before saving. SourceMedium’s own Taboola sync is not live yet, so the connection reads Awaiting first data until it starts.
