SourceMedium connects to MNTN with your account’s Reporting API key, which you copy from MNTN and paste into SourceMedium.
Sign in to SourceMedium, open your store, then choose Data sources → Connect data source and select the platform. You need an Admin or Editor workspace role.After you connect explains the first sync and connection statuses.

Copy your Reporting API key in MNTN
In MNTN, open the account menu in the top right and choose My Account.

Under MY ACCOUNT, click API, then click Copy next to Reporting API Key. All MNTN users on the account can see this key. You also need the advertiser account ID and name for this key. See MNTN’s guide: Access your API key.

Add the key in SourceMedium
Find MNTN in the connector picker and click Connect. Paste the key into Reporting API key, enter the Advertiser account ID and Advertiser account name, and click Connect MNTN. The key covers every advertiser in its MNTN account, so use an MNTN account that holds only this advertiser. A key that reports grouped advertisers cannot be verified.

Confirm it is connected
SourceMedium checks reporting access with MNTN before saving the key. MNTN cannot confirm the account ID, so check that it matches the key. SourceMedium’s own MNTN sync is not live yet, so the connection reads Awaiting first data until it starts.
SourceMedium only ever reads from your connected platforms. It does not create, change, or delete anything, so create the key with read-only access wherever the platform offers it. Treat it like a password: keep it confidential and avoid sharing it over email or in spreadsheets.
