Follow this integration guide to connect your Attentive data to SourceMedium.

This integration is currently in Beta. Reach out to your account manager or integrations@sourcemedium.com to get started.
Attentive is an SMS and email marketing platform for consumer brands. SourceMedium is scoping Attentive campaign and message data ingestion via export-based delivery, with the goal of loading it into the same performance reporting layer as Klaviyo and Postscript so you can compare owned-channel revenue with a single methodology.

Requirements

  • Active Attentive account
  • Ability to configure a data export in Attentive settings (or access to your Attentive CSM)

Steps

  1. In Attentive, navigate to Settings > Data Exports, or contact your Attentive CSM to enable scheduled exports
  2. Configure a recurring SFTP export of your subscriber and message data
  3. Share your Attentive account ID and export configuration details with integrations@sourcemedium.com
  4. SourceMedium will provision the SFTP destination and confirm once the integration is active

Planned data coverage

MetricDescription
SentCount of outbound SMS and email messages sent per campaign
ClicksCount of link clicks from messages
Attributed revenueRevenue from orders attributed to Attentive campaigns
Subscriber eventsOpt-ins, opt-outs, and active subscriber trends
Once enabled, data is expected to be available daily, broken down by message type and campaign name. Planned primary table: rpt_outbound_message_performance_daily After the integration is enabled for your account, use the messaging table’s source_system field to filter to Attentive data, or compare directly against Klaviyo and Postscript in the same table.

Questions you can answer

  • How much revenue did Attentive SMS drive last month?
  • How does Attentive click-through rate compare to our Klaviyo email flows?
  • What is our SMS subscriber opt-out rate trend over the last 90 days?
  • Compare Attentive, Postscript, and Klaviyo revenue for the same period
  • Which Attentive message types (automation vs broadcast) have the highest revenue-per-send?

Notes

  • Attentive data ingestion cadence depends on the export frequency configured for your account.
  • Historical data availability depends on the period covered by your export configuration.
