Elevar sends server-side event data to SourceMedium over Google Pub/Sub. SourceMedium hosts the destination and reads the events automatically. You only add the destination in Elevar; you do not create a Google Cloud project, topic, or function.
You connect data sources yourself in SourceMedium. Sign in to your SourceMedium account, open your store, then in the Data sources section click Connect data source and choose the platform. You need an Editor or Admin role on the store. If you have view-only access, ask an admin or editor on your team to connect it.Once it is connected, what happens next covers first-sync timing and what each connection status means.

How to connect

Start the Elevar connection in SourceMedium

Find Elevar in the connector picker and click Connect. SourceMedium hosts a shared Pub/Sub topic. Copy these values from the connect page:

Add Pub/Sub in Elevar

In Elevar, go to My Tracking → Add Destination and choose Pub/Sub. Enter Google Project ID customers-managed and Pub/Sub Topic ID elevar-sink. Under events, choose Use best practices, then Go Live.

Confirm it is connected

After events start arriving, the connection shows Connected.
Do not create your own Google Cloud project. You do not need to send SourceMedium anything.
