Pricing

One product. One predictable platform fee.

Stop paying for six tools that don't talk to each other. The complete platform is available from day one, and your proposal documents the fee, included usage, and overage rates before you sign.

Month to month • No per-seat or per-connector fees

Included in the platform fee

  • Onboarding + support
  • AI Analyst
  • BigQuery warehouse
  • Multi-touch attribution
  • Dashboard templates
  • 50 integrations
  • Data transformation
  • Standardized metrics

One fee instead of a stack of line items

Assembled analytics spend spreads across subscriptions, compute, licenses, and engineering time. Several of those lines scale with your revenue or row counts, so the bill grows as you grow. The platform fee covers the same ground and stays predictable.

Assembling it yourself In the platform fee
Connector subscriptions that scale with row volume 50 prebuilt, SourceMedium-managed integrations with no per-connector fees
Warehouse provisioning and compute administration SourceMedium-managed BigQuery environment with direct access and included compute
BI licensing and dashboard build-out Copyable, editable Looker Studio templates spanning 7 reporting modules
A separate attribution product and its pixel Multi-touch attribution reconstructed from the first-party data sources already connected
AI analytics add-ons AI Analyst that answers in Slack, included in the platform fee
Engineering time lost to pipeline repair every time a source API changes Maintained models with 4,000+ automated checks daily and one accountable partner

How the fee works

The pricing structure is outlined below: one platform fee, with the boundaries documented up front.

Platform fee

Provided after scope review

One monthly fee sized to your connected sources and usage.

Support

Onboarding and platform support

Both come with the platform fee. Your proposal itemizes the included solution work.

Custom work

Scoped separately

Custom sources and source-specific engineering requirements are scoped separately before signing.

If projected usage approaches an overage, SourceMedium flags it before it reaches your bill.

The scope review behind your proposal covers three areas:

Scope

Define the standard launch

Confirm connected systems, history requirements, reporting priorities, and which sources need custom work.

Data handling

Review security requirements

Account permissions, sensitive fields, Slack delivery, AI data-use questions, retention, and requested security documentation are settled before launch.

Commercials

Document the boundaries

The proposal records the fee, included usage, support scope, custom work, overage rates, and launch assumptions.

Customers

“I don't need to spend money on anything else.”

“I don't need to spend money on anything else. SourceMedium stands on its own. It's not just a tool; it's a platform that covers every touchpoint.”

“SourceMedium has future-proofed our data infrastructure. Their comprehensive solution not only supports our current needs but is also scalable as we grow. With their managed BigQuery instance, we have full control over our data, creating custom metrics and insights rapidly. This has empowered our team to answer complex business questions and focus on strategic growth initiatives.”

“The real win wasn't the cost savings (though those were nice). It's that my team stopped arguing about which dashboard was right. One source of truth for reporting AND attribution means we actually build things now instead of reconciling data.”

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about pricing, billing, and what's included.

What happens if we exceed the included BigQuery compute allowance?
The monthly platform fee includes a documented BigQuery compute allowance. Any usage beyond that allowance follows the overage rate in the signed proposal, with advance usage alerts. SourceMedium flags projected overages before they affect the bill.
When do I receive pricing and usage terms?
Pricing is provided after a scope review. Before signing, your proposal documents the monthly platform fee, included BigQuery and AI usage, support scope, and overage rates. Predictable pricing with no per-seat or per-connector fees.
Is the AI Analyst included?
AI Analyst is included, with answers delivered in Slack. Included usage and potential overages are documented before signing.
Do you charge per connector or per seat?
No. Supported standard integrations do not add per-connector fees, and there are no per-seat charges. Custom sources and source-specific engineering requirements are scoped separately.
Who pays for BigQuery infrastructure?
BigQuery runs in SourceMedium's managed environment by default, with direct access and included compute. A customer-owned Google Cloud deployment is also available.
Is there a long-term commitment?
No. Month-to-month commitment.
What if I already have some of these tools?
Many customers come to us while paying for a stack of overlapping tools. We'll help you understand what SourceMedium replaces and what you might keep. The goal is fewer vendors, not more.
Do I need a data engineer?
No engineer is needed to run or maintain the platform. Most teams start with dashboards and the AI Analyst in Slack. If you do have a data team, they get a documented, stable schema and direct BigQuery access from day one.
What happens if we outgrow the platform?
The foundation is designed for scale. Brands have grown from low 8-figures to high 9-figures on our platform: more sources, more volume, more questions, without turning into a new engineering project.
What if we ever leave?
Modeled data already delivered to BigQuery, customer-built SQL and models, copied dashboards, and delivered documentation remain usable. SourceMedium-managed refreshes stop after offboarding. To keep receiving fresh data, move the retained assets to a customer-managed BigQuery instance.
What support is included?
Onboarding and ongoing platform support are included. Initial onboarding includes solution hours with a US-based Customer Solutions Engineer. For supported standard connectors, SourceMedium handles authorization guidance, historical backfill, modeling, reconciliation, testing, and dashboard setup. Your team grants access, confirms key definitions, and approves the validated outputs. The proposal documents the included solution work and any custom work scoped separately.
