Zendesk MCP server
Checked September 2026.
Zendesk's only live server serves a brand's shoppers, not its agents: inside ChatGPT, a customer can get Help Center answers, run an action flow such as a delivery reschedule, and escalate into a ticket. A support team reaches its own tickets, customer history, and knowledge through OpenAI's plugin for ChatGPT and Codex, or through the REST API.

- Zendesk MCP Server (opens in a new tab)
By fruggr
Runs locally from npm or as a self-deployed remote server, each user signing in with Zendesk OAuth; reads and writes tickets, comments, attachments and Help Center articles.
- zendesk-mcp (opens in a new tab)
By Michael Rice
Runs locally in Python with a Zendesk OAuth client an admin creates; reads and writes tickets, comments, public replies, internal notes, macros, views and time-tracking entries.
One MCP server per tool still can't answer a cross-channel question.
Each server brings its own sign-in, its own definition of revenue, and data your assistant can't join to the rest.
SourceMedium connects 63 commerce and marketing sources, keeps one set of maintained definitions, and gives ChatGPT, Claude, and other assistants a single connection to all of it. Zendesk is a coming-soon SourceMedium source.
