Why a destination is failing is what RudderStack's hosted server answers: it reads sources, destinations, delivery errors, warehouse uploads, live events, audit logs, and tracking plans for the event streams it routes from websites and apps, and can create or update transformations. A local Profiles server runs SQL against the warehouse and writes identity resolution tables to it.
