Avalara MCP server

Remote endpoint mcp.avalara.com/avatax. Checked September 2026.

Four Avalara servers at mcp.avalara.com split the work by product. AvaTax calculates tax, records the transaction, and reads companies, nexus, and tax codes; Exemption Certificate Management reads and creates certificates and exempt customers; Returns reads filing calendars, liability reports, and filings and can approve a filing; E-Invoicing reads document statuses and has no write tools.

Other ways to reach Avalara data

One MCP server per tool still can't answer a cross-channel question.

Each server brings its own sign-in, its own definition of revenue, and data your assistant can't join to the rest.
