# Google Sheets MCP server

Remote endpoint sheetsmcp.googleapis.com/mcp/v1. Checked September 2026.

Spreadsheets are where a team keeps its order exports, ad spend trackers, inventory counts, budgets, and hand-built reports, and Google's Sheets server reads a range of cells and writes values, formulas, and new rows back under the signed-in user's Google permissions. The Drive server reads a spreadsheet as a file instead, and cannot edit cells.
