# ShipStation shipping data beside your orders

ShipStation shipments and label costs stay in the shipping tool, away from the orders that paid for them. Connect a V2 API key to land them as raw tables.

## Integration Snapshot

- Platform: ShipStation
- Category: Customer Success & Operations
- Availability: Raw data only
- Documentation: [View docs](https://sourcemedium.com/docs/data-inputs/platform-integration-instructions/shipstation-integration)
- Access: Your account's ShipStation V2 API key. ShipStation allows one, so reuse it if you have it.
- Requires: ShipStation Standard or Premium. Free and Starter plans include no API access.
- Delivery: Raw warehouse tables, for plans with a dedicated warehouse
- MCP server: Official server, checked September 2026 ([ShipStation MCP server](https://sourcemedium.com/mcp-directory/shipstation/))

## Why teams connect ShipStation

SourceMedium reads ShipStation shipments, labels with their costs and void status, carriers, and warehouses every six hours, starting with a year of history. It only reads: it never buys or voids a label.

## Key capabilities

- Shipments and labels: Every shipment and label, with label and insurance cost, tracking number, and void and refund state.
- A year of history: The first sync loads 365 days of shipments and labels.
- Shopper addresses stay out: Recipient addresses keep only country, state, and whether the address is residential.

## Joins with

- [ShipBob](https://sourcemedium.com/integrations/shipbob)
- [Loop Returns](https://sourcemedium.com/integrations/loop-returns)

## How it works

1. Find your V2 API key: Reuse your account's V2 key, or generate one in ShipStation's API settings if none exists.
2. Connect ShipStation: Choose ShipStation in your connector picker and paste the key.
3. Query raw tables: On a dedicated warehouse, pick the tables you want and query them in BigQuery.
