# Stay AI - Integration Instructions

> Connect Stay AI subscription data to SourceMedium with an API key.

## Follow this integration guide to connect your Stay AI data to SourceMedium.

Stay AI (formerly Retextion) manages your subscription program and retention flows. SourceMedium reads Stay AI so subscription activity can be analyzed alongside your orders and customers.

### How to connect

SourceMedium connects to Stay AI with an API key that you create in Stay AI and paste into SourceMedium.

  <Step title="Create an API key in Stay AI">
    In Stay AI, open **Settings** and create an **API key**. See Stay AI's guide: [API authentication](https://docs.stay.ai/reference/authentication).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add the key in SourceMedium">
    Find **Stay AI** in the connector picker and click **Connect**. Paste the API key and click **Connect**.

  <Step title="Confirm it is connected">
    SourceMedium saves the key and the connection shows **Connected** once syncing starts. If the key is wrong, update it from the same screen.
