# Judge.me - Integration Instructions

> Plan a Judge.me connection with SourceMedium for product ratings, review volume trends, UGC collection, and review-to-retention analysis.

## Follow this integration guide to connect your Judge.me data to SourceMedium.

Judge.me is a product review and UGC platform for Shopify, enabling automated review collection, photo/video reviews, and social proof display. SourceMedium is scoping review data ingestion so ratings and UGC volume can be connected to your product catalog and customer order history.

### How to connect

SourceMedium connects to Judge.me with an API token that you copy from Judge.me and paste into SourceMedium.

    In Judge.me, go to **Settings → API** and copy your **API token**. See Judge.me's guide: [Using the Judge.me API](https://judge.me/help/en/articles/8409180-using-judge-me-api).

    Find **Judge.me** in the connector picker and click **Connect**. Paste the API token and click **Connect**.

    SourceMedium saves the token and the connection shows **Connected** once syncing starts. If the token is wrong, update it from the same screen.

### Planned data coverage

* **Review records:** Star rating, review body, verified-purchase flag, and review created date per product review
* **UGC metadata:** Photo and video review counts alongside text review volume
* **Product linkage:** Reviews are matched to Shopify products and variants via product ID
* **Reviewer identity:** Reviewer email, where available, can support customer cohort analysis

Once enabled, review data can be joined to order and line-item data via product and customer identifiers where those identifiers are available.

### Questions you can answer

* Which products have the highest and lowest average ratings right now?
* How does review volume trend for our top 10 SKUs over the last 6 months?
* Are there products where average ratings have declined in the last 90 days?
* Which products have the most photo and video reviews vs text-only reviews?
* Do customers who leave a review have a higher repeat purchase rate than those who don't?
* What is the verified-purchase review rate across our catalog?

### Notes

* Sync cadence and historical backfill coverage are confirmed during setup.
* Verified-purchase status is provided by Judge.me. Use this flag to isolate analysis to confirmed buyers.
