# Brex - Integration Instructions

> Land Brex card and cash transactions in your warehouse as raw tables.

<Note>Raw data only. Brex lands as warehouse tables. It is not modeled in `sm_transformed_v2`, dashboards, or Uni yet.</Note>

Brex is your card and cash product. SourceMedium reads card and configured cash transactions into BigQuery.

<Info>
  You connect data sources yourself in SourceMedium. Sign in to your [SourceMedium account](https://urchin.sourcemedium.com), open your store, then in the **Data sources** section click **Connect data source** and choose the platform. You need an **Editor** or **Admin** role on the store. If you have view-only access, ask an admin or editor on your team to connect it.

  Once it is connected, [what happens next](/docs/data-inputs/platform-integration-instructions/after-you-connect) covers first-sync timing and what each connection status means.
</Info>

## How to connect

<Steps>
  <Step title="Create a Brex API token">
    In Brex, create an API token with read access to cards and transactions.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add the token in SourceMedium">
    Find **Brex** in the connector picker, paste the token, and select cash accounts to sync.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Note>
  SourceMedium only ever reads from your connected platforms. It does not create, change, or delete anything, so create the key with **read-only** access wherever the platform offers it. Treat it like a password: keep it confidential and avoid sharing it over email or in spreadsheets. If the credential is rotated or revoked, follow this guide's connection method to update SourceMedium.
</Note>

## What data syncs

Card records, card transactions, and cash transactions for selected accounts.

### Notes

* Query the warehouse directly until transformed finance models exist.
