# Can I set targets in my dashboard?

> How to configure metric targets in the configuration sheet and surface target widgets in Executive Summary.

Yes. Enter targets in the `Targets` tab of your Configuration Sheet, then ask your account manager or [integrations@sourcemedium.com](mailto:integrations@sourcemedium.com) to enable target setting and add the target widgets to your **Executive Summary**.

## Steps

1. Open your Configuration Sheet from your store in the SourceMedium workspace with **Open sheet**. ([Other ways to find it](/docs/data-inputs/configuration-sheet/config-sheet-overview#how-to-access-your-configuration-sheet))

2. Open the `Targets` tab

3. Select a channel. This is the sales channel you want to track metrics for, for example `Online DTC`. Online DTC is the only option available at the moment.

4. Add a `date_start` to indicate when the goal starts (we encourage month-to-date tracking).

5. Add a `date_end` to set the period the target applies across. If left blank, the target applies to the `date_start` day only.
   * Targets are applied as **daily values** across the range from `date_start` to `date_end` (inclusive).
   * If you want a monthly total target, enter the **per-day** target value for the month and set `date_end` to the last day of the period.

6. Add target values for the metrics you want to track.

7. Ask your account manager or [integrations@sourcemedium.com](mailto:integrations@sourcemedium.com) to add the target widgets to your dashboard.
